Starting a new medicine can bring questions. The NHS New Medicine Service (NMS) gives you free, structured support from our pharmacist over your first few weeks on an eligible new medicine - helping you use it correctly, manage any side effects, and feel confident it's working for you.

It's provided in private, in person or over the phone, across three short conversations. Eligible conditions include asthma and COPD, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, medicines that reduce blood clots, and depression - ask us if your new medicine qualifies.
